Does anyone here use GCurrents? I've been using Pulse for a while, but I like the look of Currents. Just curious as to what sources people use? I'd like some Irish/neutral news sources, as opposed to all the American ones which are available at first glance!

Trying to find something Irish on Currents and failing miserably! Did you get anything?

Does it use GReader feeds too? You could add your source there.
I've heard Feedly is good too.

The original stock News & Weather app was much better for getting Irish news IMO.

You can subscribe to Irish news sources and if you go to breaking news section, you can select Irish in the drop down which is pretty much the same as what News and Weather gives you.

I much prefer currents myself because you can get non-Irish news easily on top of the other news and you can specify your interests.

I have space.com and forbes and a few others on there.

I have RTE in the feeds section too through google reader feeds. My only issue with it is that each update seems to make it slower for some reason.

Left looking at white screen too much waiting for app to do stuff on Xperia S which has a duel core processor and doesn't struggle with any games so I don't know why a news app should slow it down. I think Currents just stores too much local content in general.

With my feeds and news sources, it takes up 50MB of data which is a lot for a news app.

Complete opposite for me. Replaced Flipboard with Currents. A little less style and more substance, but still enough eye candy. IMHO.
