Yup, got me water wings all set to go as per the movie, no flies on Doc I can tell you. I reckon after the initial tsunami subsides I should fetch up somewhere around the Urals, so I've been practising my Russian and goat barbecuing skills. Do they do yaks out that way? Ah sure we'll find out I suppose.

I'm doing BBQ Dolphin on the 22nd if anyone is still around come over, there should be a few washed up around my parts, I'm 600m above sea level here and a good bit inland so just catch the first wave in on the ironing board you'll be grand.

I've been collecting road kill for the last year, skinning the dead animals and hanging the skins in my bunker to dry. Once dry I've been stitching them together to form an all in one type of suit, a road kill snuggy if you like. When tomorrow hits, I'll be outside my house dressed in my squirrelcrowfox suit brandishing my hatchet/multi tool I bought from Aldi. I'm ready. If nothing happens (it better not...as in, it better) I'll just go back inside and reset my digi-box to carry on recording homes under the hammer.

I think its fairly safe to say we'll all be cannibalising the nearest human beings pretty much on the stroke of midnight.

Good thing there's a nice fog out.

Well i took the day off work.
They owed me holidays, plus i had to wait for the DHL delivery man.If i missed him today i don't think he'd be attempting a second delivery tomorrow.
Anyway i got my new suit and it fits nicely so i'm ready

I'm bugging out to the botanical gardens at midnight sharp. My wife has told me not to wake the kids when I come back (rolls eyes: it's that sort of cavalier attitude that's gonna get her into trouble in the future...errmm, which doesn't exist because of tomorrow.) Anyway, if any Mayan zombies come around my BOL they're gonna get Biolited to death-and I'll record it on my camera phone whilst charging it from the stove.

I'm trying to finish this bathroom, get paid, and welcome the apocalypse safe in the knowledge that if the world doesn't end, I can buy the Christmas presents. If it does end, then I've two things finished, ups yours ex-girlfriend!!!!(who, incidentally,is quiet good at finishing things)

i read that scientists are saying that it holds no significance the date . that it will have absolutely nothing to do with any risk of any problems for the world. and the date holds no more significance than any other date in this decade as far as everybody dying is concerned. if you type in may calendar into google you will see the results about it. there's also a wikipedia article about how it just conincedence of this date. i wouldn't worry about anything tomorrow.

    I reckon I'm sorted;

Just checked the presses there, I've about three tins of beans, two of chopped tomatoes, some custard, ketchup, loads of spices and some pasta.

I also have about five bottles of red wine and some Polish alcohol stuff that's pink.

I've also got about half a litre of bottled water, I normally use it for the iron, but I could drink it.

I'm seeing an unusually high number of lurkers around here lately, dunno what prepping they're going to get done in 1 day though.

Anyone seen people leaving aldi/lidl today with trolleys piled high with tinned food?

Hold on a freakin minute. Isn't it already 21/12/12 somewhere? And when it's 21/12/12 here, won't it still be the 20th in Canada? So who gets to have the apocalypse on the 21st and who gets shafted? Probably be the 20th or the 22nd here the way this country is run. Bleeding muppets in the dail always playing catch up with someone

00.21 hours, sitting in deckchair on roof.
Still no sign of a fire ball, utterly disappointed.
Murdered the wife & kids for nothing.
Now I have to make my own sandwich. :D
