This deal is from groupon, through Markettown.ie

Just an indicator of another one of their fantastic items currently on sale at a ridiculously low price ....http://www.markettown.ie/base/multi-plug-adapter.html

Yeah... Markettown seem to be a bit of a scam. The coffee maker is on eBay for £19.99

Oh dear!! Glad I didn't buy it so. I got stung with a Bluetooth set for the car with Groupon last year.. Won't get caught again with another "amazing" deal..

i got it previously on groupon for 20 quid with a voucher, and it does exactly what it says on the tin. I use it every day, quick rinse of the filter, fill it with coffee grinds, add water and hey presto. Coffee. If i had one criticism it would be that the temperature of the coffee is not as hot as the kettkle, but i like my coffee a bit cooler. for 20 quid I find it perfectly acceptable, and its small and neat and fits in a corner.

Wouldn't touch any of Groupon's goods.
I was trying to use up credit with them a few months back and got their set of 'Egyptian cotton' towels.
Towels were she thinnest ****tiest ones I have seen. The brand was 'egyptian', so they could say 'Egyptian cotton towels"

Making coffee with boiling water can burn the beans which is why coffee makers usually are not as hot as a kettle*

*I think. I could be talking complete ****e but I think I read the above somewhere.

Bought this before when it was on offer for cheaper. Great machine, but beware, the cups are TINY! Bottle of salt and a box of ciggies (regular size) for comparison:

You can put anything in it really, hot choccy etc if you fancy a break from coffee. As I said cups are tiny, but normal ones will fit (unless they're MEGA tall). I'm quite a happy customer in this instance!

    Do yourselves a favour.
Top up your basket to £25 for free delivery, or add €3.50 for ParcelMotel to forward it to the Republic.
    You'll never go back. ;)

Don't follow, wasn't this thread started 7+ hours before your thread. I may be missing something though.

    http://www.citizensinformation.ie/en/consumer_affairs/consumer_protection/consumer_rights/consumers_and_the_law_in_ireland.html
Goods must be as described - the buyer must not be mislead into buying something by the description of goods or services given orally by a salesperson or an advertisement.
    http://www.citizensinformation.ie/en/consumer_affairs/consumer_protection/consumer_rights/unfair_terms.html
In the case of written contracts, all terms must be written in plain, understandable language. If there is a doubt about the meaning of a term, the meaning that is most favourable to the consumer will prevail.

So unless it was made clear on the advertising that Egyptian was a brand name then throw them back
