This was advertised as being live and ad free in America last night. Not sure if it was on Sky Sports or not. The fact there was no other topics on here means it either wasn't, or, more worryingly, no one watched it. Anywhere, here's the full spoilers for this weeks Smackdown.

    12/18 WWE Super Smackdown
    Live and Commercial Free

Results by Mike Killam for Wrestlezone.com

Tonight's show starts off with a video package that highlights Big E. Langston's attack on John Cena last night on Raw, and the feud between Big Show and Sheamus culminating at TLC. Tonight's main event will be a tag team match between John Cena and Sheamus vs. Big Show and Dolph Ziggler.

Lillian Garcia welcomes us to Smackdown and introduces us to the Miz, who makes his way out for MizTV. He makes a joke about Lindsey Lohan and a moving vehicle, before bringing out Dolph Ziggler and AJ Lee. The two come out hand-in-hand, and even kiss on their way down to the ring. They are followed by Big E. Langston. Miz asks them simply, "why?"

AJ tells him to ask John Cena why she toyed with her emotions. She says all she wanted was to keep John Cena's name clean, and so she lost her job as General Manager of Raw to protect him. She rolls footage of their first kiss, and says she thought it was the start of something beautiful, but he was just playing with her heart. Apparently AJ was the one who made the ridiculous Cena bows that Vickie Guerrero showed him, that he then rejected. He then told her to stay backstage while she just wanted to support him. AJ brings up Daniel Bryan and CM Punk, and how Cena was supposed to be better than all of that, but he isn't.

Miz calls AJ crazy, and Big E. gets in his face. She explains that Langston doesn't like it when people call her crazy. Dolph Ziggler now gets involved, and says AJ isn't "crazy", she's just passionate. He says John Cena can keep the Slammy for Superstar of the year, because he doesn't need it. He says he stole the show, just as he stole Cena's girlfriend. Miz tells Ziggler he hopes he can satisfy all of AJ's multiple personalities, and Langston attacks him, hitting his unnamed finisher.

Backstage Teddy Long catches up with Booker T and tells him to take a look at a kid, and potentially give him a contract. The camera comes around and reveals Brad Maddox. Book pulls Teddy aside and they talk about everything he did to Ryback. Teddy says they shouldn't be afraid of a little controversy, and they agree to give Maddox a tryout match later on during the show.

    (1) Damien Sandow vs. Sin Cara

Rey Mysterio's music hits, but he never comes out.

Damien Sandow quickly grounds Sin Cara, working over his leg to take out his high flying game. Cody Rhodes gets involved whenever the referee is distracted, making sure that Sin Cara can't gain any offense. Sandow gets him in a side headlock, but he battles back with the momentum of the crowd, but Sandow breaks the hold to hit him with a Russian leg sweep. He goes right back into the headlock, as the commentary team is having some sort of ridiculous discussion - Michael Cole is on hand for this live special, by the way - until Sin Cara breaks up the hold. Sandow goes for a splash in the corner, but Sin Cara ducks under it and springboards off the second rope with a flying splash of his own. Top rope crossbody connects, but he only gets a two-count.

A dropkick sends Cody to the outside, as the Shield are shown making their way down to ringside. Roman Reigns throws Rey Mysterio's mask into the ring. Sin Cara picks it up, and Sandow takes advantage of the distraction to pick up the win with his finisher.

    Winner: Damien Sandow

After the match, the Shield attacks Sin Cara. Reigns and Dean Ambrose hold his leg flat across the mat, as Seth Rollins comes down off the top rope with a diving knee drop. The Shield leaves the ring as medics tend to Sin Cara.

    (2) Santino Marella vs. Tensai

This match is a result of their Slammy Award conflict, during which Santino called Tensai "fat Albert".

Tensai tries to lock up with Santino, as the crowd chants "Albert" and JBL puts over his career in New Japan. Tensai sends Santino off the Irish whip, but he starts power walking just to frustrate Tensai even further. This doesn't go over well with the big man, and crushes Santino in the corner. He hits a few headbutts, but can't get the pin. Santino fires back with several rights, and somehow manages to bodyslam the big man! He gets his own running headbutt, and brings out the Cobra! Tensai avoids it and locks in a sleeper hold, but Santino strikes with the Cobra anyway. It bounces off Tensai's head, and he goes for the running senton splash, but Santino rolls out of the way and steals the victory!

    Winner: Santino

We get a recap of the Shield attack on Ric Flair and Team Hell No during Raw, as the announce team talk about their presumed abduction of Rey Mysterio earlier tonight. They head backstage and Kofi Kingston is with Kane and Daniel Bryan. Kofi says he wants to get his hands on Wade Barrett, but Bryan is still freaking out because he didn't win a Slammy. Kane tells him they got to hang out with Ric Flair, and Kingston says he definitely has the best catchphrase. Daniel freaks out even more, saying that he has the best catchphrase, and screams "No!" until they fade to black.

    (3) Wade Barrett & Prime Time Players vs. Team Hell No & Kofi Kingston

Kofi starts the match trying to chase off Wade Barrett, but gets hit in the back by big Titus O'Neil. He shakes off the attack and vaults over the top rope and starts pounding away on Barrett. Darren Young gets the tag as they roll Kofi back into the ring. Kingston tags in Daniel Bryan who kicks away at Young in the face corner. Bryan locks in the surfboard stretch while Darren Young screams out for Titus to save him. Kane makes the tag and continues beating down on Young. He makes the quick tag back to Daniel Bryan, and slingshots his tag partner into a corner splash on their opponent.

Bryan kicks away on Young, until he breaks free and gets the tag to Wade Barrett, who throws Bryan into the corner and unleashes a flurry of right hands. Barrett goes into the side headlock as the commentary team talk about Jillian Hall and the Boogyman...for some reason. Kofi Kingston tags into the match, but immediately is taken down by Barrett. Barrett tags in Darren Young who also goes back into the headlock. The heels continue to keep up the pressure, making quick tags. Titus O'Neil tags in, but Kane also makes the hot tag at the same time. All hell breaks loose as Kofi and Barrett fight to the outside. Darren Young tags back in, but Bryan pulls Titus to the outside and locks in the No Lock. Kane chokeslams Young for the three-count.

Winners: Team Hell & Kofi Kingston

Backstage Sheamus is with John Cena, trying to explain some random Irish jokes that I don't understand.

WWE Champion CM Punk makes his way out with Paul Heyman following close behind him. He says it's been 394 with him as the WWE Champion, but the people can't put away their ignorance for one single night to vote for him as Superstar of the Year. He says apparently both men and women shouldn't be allowed to vote. He calls the people losers, but says he expected it from all of them. Punk says it's bothering Cena because he knows that Punk is the better man. He brings up Ric Flair and tells the people to "Woo" because Flair needs their support to pay his child support and alimony. He says that CM Punk doesn't go on strike, unlike the Penguins.

Ryback makes his way out to finally end the madness. He says that doctors claim Punk will be medically cleared to wrestle in just a few weeks, and claims he's targeted the first Raw of 2013 as his time to become the WWE Champion.

    (4) Ryback vs. Antonio Cesaro

Cesaro isn't too thrilled about getting in the ring with Ryback, but does only to get caught with a powerslam. Ryback throws his head into the mat three times, but the US champ hides in the ropes and the ref is forced to make Ryback back off. Cesaro tries for his signature uppercut, but it does nothing to Cesaro. Ryback sets up for the meathook clothesline, but the champ bails from the ring and grabs his title. Ryback goes to get him, but gets thrown into the steel steps. The referee almost counts the ten, but Ryback crawls back into the ring at the last second.

Ryback runs straight into the turnbuckle, and Cesaro comes off the second rope with an uppercut, but can only get two. A big stomp connects, followed by another; two-count. Cesaro locks in a side headlock, but Ryback pretty easily breaks free of it. Cesaro tries to fire off with uppercuts, but Ryback explodes out of the corner with a splash. Big back bodydrop connects, followed by the meathook clothesline. Shellshock connects, and Ryback picks up the win.

    Winner: Ryback

Kaitlyn runs into AJ in the back, and the do the whole thing where AJ pretends to be her friend. Kaitlyn calls her a lunatic, which of course forces a brawl. The referees and some other backstage personel break it up.

    (5) WWE Divas Champion
    Eve vs. Kaitlyn

Kaitlyn seems distracted after the attack by AJ, and Eve takes advantage with a Thesz press. Eve stretches her out in the ropes until the referee forces her to break the hold. Kaitlyn rolls to the outside and the champ follows her. She slams her challenger's head off the ring steps and rolls back into the ring before locking in the side headlock. Kaitlyn almost puts her away with a quick roll-up, but Eve kicks out before the three-count. Kaitlyn with a sunset flip pin off the second rope, but again Eve kicks out. Shoulder tackle connects; another two. Kaitlyn hoists the champ up on her shoulders, but Eve crawls down and ends up on the apron, only to get kicked to the outside. Kaitlyn gets a press off the apron to the floor and rolls her opponent into the ring. She heads up to the top rope, but Eve holds onto the referees legs until he calls for the bell.

    Winner via DQ: Kaitlyn

Backstage Big Show tells Dolph Ziggler they obviously don't trust each other. He tells Dolph if he tries anything tonight with the Money in the Bank, he'll get knocked so far into the future his contract will have expired.

    (6) Brad Maddox vs. ???

His opponent is revealed as "The Funkasaurus", Brodus Clay. Not good news for Brad Maddox.

Maddox tries for a corner splash, but just bounces off. Brodus gets some headbutts and fall-away suplex. The camera shows Teddy Long and Booker T backstage, smiling at Brad Maddox getting his ass kicked. Maddox tries to escape the match, and Brodus tries to follow but gets caught with a big kick off the side of his head. Clay with a huge belly-to-belly suplex followed by his finisher.

    Winner: Brodus Clay

After the match, The Shield hits the ring and picks apart Brodus Clay. They get the three man powerbomb to put him away. Seth Rollins says that everyone is accountable, and the three of them pose in the crowd as medics check Brodus Clay.

    (7) Dolph Ziggler & Big Show vs. Sheamus & John Cena

Ziggler and Big Show trade offense early in the match, getting quick tags and keeping John Cena isolated in either their corner, or one of the empty corners. Ziggler tries for a big splash in the corner, but Cena moves out of the way and gets the hot tag to Sheamus. The Irishman makes his way in and goes crazy on Ziggler. He pulls him out to the apron and lands his signature clubbing blows as AJ and Langston look on. Sheamus pulls his opponent back in the ring and tries for the cloverleaf, but Ziggler throws him off to the outside. Sheamus stands up to Langston, but gets taken out by a big clothesline from the Big Show.

Back in the ring the heels go back on offense, with Big Show tagging in and picking apart Sheamus. Sheamus tries to work his way back into the match, but he can't match power with the World Champion. Big Show tries for the chokeslam, but Sheamus counters into a DDT! Both men get their respective hot tags, and Cena takes down Ziggler with the shoulder tackles and the spinout powerbomb. Five Knuckle Shuffle connects, but Show interrupts the AA by kicking Cena in the gut. Sheamus and Big Show brawl to the back, and Ziggler gets the Zig-Zag on Cena. 1...2...but Cena gets the shoulder up! Cena with the Attitude Adjustment, but Langston hits the ring and takes Cena out with a clothesline for the DQ.

Winner via DQ: John Cena & Sheamus

After the match Big E. Langston gets his finisher on Cena. He stands over the fallen Cena as AJ and Ziggler make out to end the night.

I had in on record anyway. Only about 10 people watch/comment on Smackdown in general so not surprised to see no other mention of the show before this thread.

also random Irish Jokes? I am looking forward to seeing that bit.

Jesus, how sickened must Tensai be to be put in this position by WWE after being such a big deal in Japan?

Well the fact that hes probably on a guaranteed regular paycheque, gets to work and live in the States, work a gentler style and much shorter matches softens the blow.

Life as a jobber in WWE and all that go with it still amounts to a very very decent living compared with being an independent worker - even one doing well in Japan.

The attack on Sin Cara Tuesday night on SmackDown was done to write him off TV, due to a real knee injury.

How long until Sheamus will has a new gimmick of being a Ted like priest? Wonder if he's doing it because he saw the reactions from places like here or if he's just doing it because he likes it.
It's a show that is known over there anyway, I think, since they were planning a remake.
