Daily limit on ATM card reduced without any notification

I had a new ATM card issued because of the Visa Debit card shambles.
My new ATM card has had its daily withdrawal limit reduced without even the manners of being informed.

Because of BOIs inability to amend AIB credit card payees online, I had to withdraw a good chunk of money to pay off the credit card bill. I was looking to get 800Eur to pay it (previously my daily limit was 900), but low and behold when I tried to withdraw this amount it was declined.

Why would my limit be reduced without even the courtesy of notification?

How do I get the daily limit reinstated to its previous value?

    Hi daheff,

    Thanks for the post.

The daily withdrawal limit on your new card should be the same as your previous card.

Please call Banking 365 and a representative will look into this for you.

    Thanks

    Billy
