Is there any way they're going to swap it for a more suitable week? (for those not on facebook!)

It's a day shorter than usual, the Monday being a Bank Holiday and it comes just after Paddy's Day when funds for some may be low.

That is also the week that many students have CA exams.

the students Union would have known this.

It all points to them trying to make Rag Week quieter than previously with a view to eventually phasing it out altogether.

Not before its time as far as I'm concerned.

Rightly so.I'm a final student myself and I've seen students drunk in the street at one in the day last year;the people of Sligo shouldn't have to put with that ****e.
