purchased a browing maxus today from lakeland shooting centre , had it and a beretta 391 in my hands and the extra fetures on the maxus swayed it for me along with the high rib sight .

just wonder has anyone got one of these or expeirence with one

Have a look a fieldsports Britain, Mark Gilchrist shoots with one on that some good videos on it I think he may have even done a review when he first got one.

If they are as good as the browning gold hunter you wont be sorry I had one for 10 years, shot the sh#te out of it and still sold it for good money. Never let me down, I have a 391 now better range with the optimum chokes but i find the action clangs and there's a tin sound off it as well.. I think you get more with the browning for the same sort of money.

did u buy the 28 or 30 inch and what did you pay for it if you don't mind me asking..?

Bit late asking that now..I've heard the new Browning auto's give a little trouble and the Cynergy o/u was supposed to have been poor too.

Browning sponsor that show so I'd guess the review is pretty favourable.

Bought the 28 inch but it has a turkey choke that extends the gun to 30 inch . It's got a whole load of extras like full set of chokes and sights very easy to maintain too.

    Price was 1400

myself and the brother have a maxus he has a duck blind camo got for €1300 & i have grade 3 premium got for €1400.
i love this gun and very happy with.
speed loading and unloading is handy and the safety cut-off is very handy.
never had a problem with it. not cleaned for the last 400 rounds and still works perfect... will clean it for xmas :D
