    Hi all
Narrowed down choice of bike to two. 1 with full carbon other carbon forks. Price diff €250 which I don't mind. Started Triathalon training and wanted to upgrade but am now stuck- which do ye think is best carbon or carbon fork? Both have same shimano gear set

What are the two bikes? The full carbon one might be lighter.

It does depend on what weight they are. If the carbon one is heavier than the alu with carbon forks, what sense is there in going for the full carbon?

Frame materials don't mean much in isolation, but 60% extra weight is a lot.

Well which would you rather lug up hill? I know which I'd pick.

12.5 KG sounds obese - is that correct? I'm assuming these are road bikes; even Halfords most weighty road bikes are 11.7kgs.
