Anyone else's landline dead since last Friday? I'm in Caherdavin and my phone is dead since then. Anyone else's landline dead since last Friday? I'm in Caherdavin and my phone is dead since then. Apparently there's a big Eircom fault somewhere around Brookville Ave. I asked the repair crew last Sat. when I might expect the service to be back and the guy said definitely that evening or Mon. morning at the latest.

I asked the same guy again at 5pm this evening and he said it would definitely be restored this evening. Well, it's now 7pm and still no phone.

Anyone know what's going on?
