I want to get a Nintendo 3DS XL w. Mario Kart 7 as cheaply as possible in a bricks and mortar store. Any ideas?

HMV is recommended - 3DS XL, Layton, and charger for €219. That said, something similar on the Gamestop website for the same price.

The Gamestop one isn't an XL

Sorry about that, I was multitasking on a tablet which is like rubbing your stomach and patting your head at the same time. The XL bundle from Gamestop is €260, so HMV is the place to go as you'd get Layton and Mario Kart (~€40 most places) for the same price.

Did the EU get the Pikachu yellow special editions? We have loads of them over here in Korea, just wondering if it's worth it to buy a few and sell on :D

    We did.

A little while ago all the Japanese Pokemon fans were blessed with the awesome Pikachu 3DS XL special edition. Now Europe is going to be graced by everybody’s favourite yellow electric mouse Pokemon. The special edition will be arriving in stores on December 7th. So far there has been no word of America getting the special edition.

It's obvious that Nintendo is getting this special edition in stores just in time for the peak of Holiday shopping in Europe so why they don't want the same for America is quite a mystery. Perhaps Team Rocket has kidnapped the shipment of 3DS Pickachu's in ransom for... some other un-evolved Pokemon in an attempt at world domination.

Would the American g1's like to see this special edition come to your shores? Would you buy this special edition even if you already have a 3DS? Post your comments!

Has anyone seen the 3ds XL for a good price in the new year sales yet?

I saw it for £142 or about €187 on amazon last Monday, that was an amazing deal since the white version (bundled with Mario Kart 7 or Super Mario 3D Land and normally priced at €230-€255) was the same price as the red/blue/silver versions.
