Spots not working

I have a set of four spot lights that have stopped working. The have a transformer inside that gives out 11.6V to the spots, I think this may be the problem. Is it possible to get these changed.

I put a phase tester screwdriver up and there is power getting to the bulbs, the bulbs are all new but still not working.

    Any suggestions....

It could be a few things. It may be da live to the transformers, maybe a neutral connection. Are all the mcbs up at the fuse board. You would be better using a multimeter instead of a phase tester.

You sure the bulbs haven't blown?

You said there's electricity getting to them, are they over the maximum wattage?

Yea, all new bulbs, not even a flash of light or anything when switched on.

I know problem isn't with switch etc as I have replaced them with another single light and it works fine!!

What watts are the bulbs? Are they the same as the previous bulbs?

All I can think of is they've blown or the bulbs are too powerful for the transformers
