    Hi,

Does anyone know if ferry companies have a new year style sale once the years out ? Or do they usually go up given then that people are probably then looking to book their holidays ?

I'm looking at irishferries to France and the prices seem steep enough (also when compared to this years prices), so deliberating when the best time to book would be.

    Thanks,
    R

They send out e-mails throughout the year with special offers on UK and France, just signup on their website, you won't be waiting long for the next sale.

People who book flights or ferries well in advance do so usually because they don't have much choice as to when they travel. The airlines and ferry companies exploit this by charging high fares for trips booked several months in advance.

If you wait for the special offers, they will be discounting fares on midweek ferries and the like, that's when you'll get the best deal for next summer.
