    Senator Daniel Inouye (D-HI) has died. The longest-current senator, and a remarkable story.

    One of the old school, not partisan, and a Medal of Honor recipient. The man had balls on and off the battlefield. I only hope his replacement will be of similar calibre.

    A pretty great and honorable guy, even if he was king of pork-barrel and big government spending. A Medal of Honor winner from WWII, and was third in line of presidential succession.

    read about what he did in the war.... all I can say is... Holy Crap what a legend... never heard a real life story as ballsy as that one about how he lost his arm.
