What did you get with your milk tokens?

Do you remember back in the day when you could cut tokens off milk cartons to get yourself a soccer ball or deck of cards. Or off breakfast cereal to get a spoon.

Do you remember doing this an do you still have the item that took months of collecting tokens for?

I loved the wee submarines that ran on baking soda. We didn't need coke when we were young.

I never got anything from cereal boxes (Im probably too young) but I do remember collecting the Coca-cola labels to get an alarm clock.

I sent away for a Coca Cola camera (that used film) years ago. I still have it somewhere but I'm not sure if it works. Not that I'd buy film for it anyway.

I was trying to save for a new duvet cos the one I had was the one I had since I was 3 yrs old over the years I actually would go to bed freezing my butt off as there was no heating or insulation in the house either.

Never did get the new duvet but I did help my mum with her hoarding problem! She loved the idea of collecting these tokens until finally they stopped exchanging tokens.

    :(

Very vaguely, but yes I remember them! Were they blue or yellow?

Jeez, I actually found my own a few weeks back while I was clearing out and tidying up! Remember being surprised at it actually working when it first arrived, thought it would be a gimmick that wouldn't function right :o Got meself a few of those cameras!
