I went over a speed bump last night and there was a big bang like someone had thrown a rock at my car.now every time a hit even a small bump on the road there's a noise coming from my right wheel.
I was told today that its probably a broken drop link, and it was nothing I should be too worried about.
Thing is,it doesn't sound like something trivial.
Anyone know what it does?or is it urgent?
    Thanks in advance.

By the way its a 07 Saab 93.

Most likely either a drop link or a broken coil spring. It's not a good idea to be driving around with either part broken to be honest so you should get it checked out ASAP.

Droplinks connect the anti-roll bar to the suspension.
They are commonly known as stabiliser links as well.
If that is what is gone then its not an expensive job in either parts or labour.
Mine are rattling away until I can get round to fitting some new ones, a broken one can make your car handle badly around corners.

Don't forget the top mount, it takes abuse aswell. Check it for play

Drop links are easy and cheep to fix. I remember once I went over a ramp quite enthusiastically and heard a pop. Got home and had a look and found the drop link on the left front hanging off the anti-roll bar. The force of the impact had caused it to detach from its mount on the shock but instead of popping the joint it had actually striped the tread. The nut was no where to be seen.
