    ooops sorry about that should have said when it started.
    he didn't mention kelly taking suplements but he did on the web interview.
    i was so shocked to hear him say that him and kimmage heard the disthink sound of pills when he bunny hopped his bike right in front of them .
    mind you he did say neither kelly or roach were on the dreaded EPO.

    an 80s pro cyclist taking amphetamines or whatever before a race

    i'd say it was routine in the peleton

    Was more likely cafeine tabs. Just note not all pills are banned either.
    Bit of a non story on a lot of levels.....

    Just listened to the interview there, very good. Must say I was impressed by PK's questions. Is he a cycling fan or has he just got good researchers :D

    When he's on form PK is a bloody good investigative journo. He seems very well briefed here and in the past with Shane Stokes.

    yes pretty much cant remember his exact words but he said the difference with taking epo and supplements the epo changed you into a completly different rider capable of anything i suppose .

    but then again i could be wrong usually am.:(

    Ah right, without listening back I imagine he meant was that Kelly and Roche competed and were at the top of their game before the arrival EPO. They were not donkey's.

    Walsh was on the Late Late with Roche in 2002 in relation to EPO in the latter part of his career.
