Hi, I have a rather embarrassing question so ill get right to it.

I qualified as an electrician in 2005 (Kevin St college).
Today for the first time I have to fill out my qualifications for a CV. The problem is I have no idea what my electrical qualifications or called , or even where to look. Have been Googling for an hour and I cant find anything. All I have at hand is my FETAC card which has seen the light of day for the first time in 7 years says "electrican with merit". Which only makes it more embarrassing that I cant remeber what they are called.

So any help would be greatly appreciated.

Probably called ‘Apprenticeship in installation, maintenance and repair of electrical equipment’.

That is not the name of a qualification, it is a course description.

The OP would be able apply for a job titled "Qualified electrician required". This is because he is qualified as an electrician.
