Need Fis but afraid to apply !!!

I am a lone parent with two children. I receive no maintenance from my husband. My Fis is up for renewal in the new year and have received a form from Fis to apply.
I currently receive 252.98 from employment. 210.10 from my one parent allowance including the fuel allowance and 91.00 on FIS. If I apply for fis now I would imagine I will receive 91.00 euros again for the next year.
My Problem is that my daughter turns 17 in April and I am set to lose my one parent allowance in July 2013. Fis have said that they will not re assess me when this happens. Has anyone been through this kind of thing that could offer advice.
