Cheap Camera Phone

    Can someone suggest some decent, reasonably priced phones with a good camera.

    It's for my mother, so nothing too fancy. Basically all she wants is a good camera. I will be giving her my sim and contract when i go travelling in a few weeks, but i want to keep my phone (it's my camera and mp3 player). So i was thinking i could get her a new phone now, and transfer the sim over to it once i leave.

    It would have to be micro-sim i guess, as that's what i have with the One X (afaik).

    Any shop will change your Sim to a non micro so i wouldnt limit yourself to micro only.

    What sort of MP are you looking at?

    Under €200 really, with lower being better. As for MP, i suppose 5mp would probably be enough. She has a crappy vga or 1mp camera at the moment.

    I got a Huawei 330 yesterday 150, solid phone, ok camera, nothing mindblowing, would do the job

    Nokia Lumias are pretty good for cameras apparently but they don't have Android AFAIK.

    Cheers, i'll show her the Huawei 330 and see if she likes it. And maybe the HTC Desire C.

    I'm more familiar with Android. So when she inevitably calls me asking how the bloody phone works, it's better to go with what i know :P

    The phones i've had with the best camera's have always been Sony's.
    So either look at a Sony within ur budget, or maybe a Nokia. The rest are all the same really.

    The 330 is a good phone (so far) camera doesnt seem as good as it could be (bit of a lag), worth a look though and at 5mp is entirely passable.

    Id echo above on Sony Camera being good

    I got recently used but in very good cond iphone 3g s 16gb from ebay. Prices are under 200 euro delivered.
    Good camera for sure. Im android fan myself but did not came across yet with good but cheap android camera phone.
    All good android camera phones are priced over 200 euro..
