So I've had this dell vostro since 2007 and its somehow still ticking away though its seen faster days.

Has a 8600mGT so it can do a spot of gaming which has always been nice. Its very old now though.

M8 has a lan coming up and I thought screw it, time to give this old boy a kick up the hole. Gonna delete Vista and slap win8 on the thing. Since its 07 I'm pretty sure its DDR2 ram that its packing. 2GB of it.

Google tells me the most it'll handle is 4gb. So as I can't do much but upgrade the ram I'm looking to buy 4gb DDR2. In town though as I need it this week.

So anyone know where I can buy laptop ram in Dublin? Normally shop online for this stuff. Cheers.

Oh and btw anyone have any experience customising laptops? Aesthetically I mean? Just feel like giving it that last bit of life yea know? :P

most likely PC World in the Jervis, Peats or Maplins but you'll pay big for it

I got some off Amazon recently and because they were shipping from Dublin (live in Cork) got it in a couple of days so it might be an option.
