We usually have one of these threads after each semester; they can be pretty useful for making goals and stuff for next year :)

I know I'm no longer in college, but I'm still going to give this a go :pac:

    So, since September:
    - Started an internship that is pretty much perfect for me right now.
    - Met some lovely people.
    - Didn't get to go to as much society stuff as I'd have liked. I know it's a bit weird to want to still go to stuff when I'm finished, but FemSoc is awesome :P
    - Got a little bit better at looking after myself.

    Plans for early next year:
    - Get more involved in activism.
    - Decide whether or not I want to do a masters in September, and if I decide to do one, sort out applications/money situation.
    - Go on a beauty no-buy for a few months :o

What about the rest of you?

    Assignments, assignments, assignments.

And probably more of the same next semester.

Hectic workload. I've worked harder this semester than I have over the past two years of my degree.
I neglected one of my modules this semester and learned the hard way. I'll not be doing that next semester.
Spent way too much time sipping coffee and talking s**** Less of that next semester. Really need to be a bit wiser with the $$ next semester too. That and more hard work lies ahead of me. Oh joy!
Glad I've got that clear in my head:)

    Semester 1:

Skipped ALL of my tutorials for one module, leaving me down by 5%. In fairness, it was a 9am Monday morning tutorial so I'm happily taking the percentage hit... But not going to do that next semester.

Didn't get involved in the societies I joined because all of the events were on at like 6pm, 7pm and I start work at 7pm every day so I always have to be off-campus by 6pm. :(

Laughed the majority of the way through one module as the lecturer did not realise how what she was saying sounded - "So essentially, everybody wants to do it with as many people as possible, for as long as possible, as soon as possible." :pac:

    ACTUALLY FINISHED THE SEMESTER! :D

Semester 1 - I can't use Boards on campus without being watched.

Also, I mentioned cocaine and Tipp-ex in Maths.

    Since September:
    - Had the best time of my life
    - Met some great people (hopefully it will be life long friendship)
    - Went to almost all of my tutorials and lectures ( :o )
    - Didn't get involved in Clubs and Socs as much as I planned to
    - Realized in my last lecture in one module that I know absolutely nothing about it and I still have to pass my exams in it :P

    Plans for early next year:
    - Have even more craic
    - Plan my 3 months abroad (compulsory to graduate)
    - Actually pay attention in lectures
    - Get more involved with Clubs and Socs

    Always watching! >_>

    An expansion on Semester 1:
I actually love the 1st Lecturer we had for Chemistry, she made everything so easy for the first few questions on the exam!

    Bit late but anyway!
Started my masters and realised how much I love this subject and the area I'm studying in.
Had many, many, many health set backs.
Cried about the worst essay feedback I have ever received.
Bounced back and worked harder for that module, to prove to myself I could do it.
Found a great bunch of people, who I would be lost without.

    Semester 2:
Focus on my thesis and the rest of my course workload.
Cry a little, laugh a lot
Get my health sorted, regardless of how many trips to the hospital it takes for them to listen to me.
Book a holiday for the summer with my better half as a reward.

It's nice to be back!!! :D
