easy, if I'm lying on my back, sit up, lift knees up so that feet are on flat on ground, lean forward and then stand up.

but obviously as you get older you cant
so your logic is flawed and that means everyone will die young at some stage ( even though when your older you wont be able to do it ) so you wont exactly be young anyway

Without using your knees? But they're part of your legs. You need to involve them in the whole standing up process.

You can use them, you have to as you say, but you can't kneel and then use that to stand up, you are meant to be able to do it without needing any part of your body to support your weight.

Yeah, even at my age I can. Some karate instructors insist on doing this at the end of a class, though I don't as it only discourages students who already know they are overweight.
