Yes and I nearly melted with the heat in there.

How is education supposed to make me feel smarter? Besides, every time I learn something new, it pushes some old stuff out of my brain. Remember when I took that home winemaking course, and I forgot how to drive?

Today is the oldest you've ever been, and the youngest you'll ever be again.

Madame Tussauds is an awful waste of money. Up there with the London Eye in terms of rip-offology.

Yep, thought it was ****e, and the whole experience was not worth the money at all

I don't see the point of wax museums whatsoever.

Was there 3 years ago and thought it was a load of shite... Japanese tourists seem to really love it for some reason. I reckon they think the waxworks are the actual celebrities.

Yes, 'twas some crazy price to get in there, but it was fun for the 'scary' Chamber of Horrors part. Didn't really get the point of the wax models.

How much does it cost to get in?

    £30 for an adult ticket

I remember in one wax museum I visited, Mahatma Ghandi had somehow melted.
They had a sign up stating this instead of the actual waxwork. It really set me wondering how one melted, but the others in the room who were close by, had not.

The museums in London are free and a great way to spend a wet day.

Boards isn't about asking questions. It's about discussion which the OP in these ridiculous threads has done nothing to generate.

Yes, isnt it a compulsory part of the tour? As far as I recall, its a linear route from one room to the next and thats about halfway through, a lot of sudden screams and cool waxworks of torture and weapons etc. :D

Yes. I have been several times, although not for about ten years now. It was an amazing experience as a child.
There was a rumour that the Chamber of Horrors contained Denis Nilsens bath but I don't know if it was real or not.

The London Dungeon is a great few hours entertainment too.

All those tourist attractions are very expensive, bar museums which are free. Just like everything in London really.

I'm not sure if I would pay the 30 pound, as I was in Dublin one 10 euro I think so you might say cheap but it was 10 euro to much as it was just terrible.
