Am i still a virgin?

I am unsure if I had sex last night and lost my virginity. Basically I ended up getting drunk and staying over at a friends house. I know all the people there and have for years including this boy. I can remember all most everything from when we were in his room. There was me and him in one bed and another friend asleep on the chair in the room. Well we started to fool around and were both undressed but just touched no sex. This morning though we woke up things started again. I don't know if I actually had sex though. It sounds silly cause I know he tried to but I'm not sure it went in, shouldn't I have felt pain?. Anyways and would like to know if there are any signs that i had sex for the first time other than the hymen breaking as I know mine already had years ago. It feels very sore on the outside but that could just be because he was quite rough. My gut says that I did have sex but I can't be sure. Especially when later the guy who shared the room was like I know you're still a virgin and he was awake during most ...

Any advice will be greatly appreciated. I just need any signs or symptoms that could show that I've had sex. I would ask him but don't want to sound stupid.

Well, I'm presuming as your unsure whether you had sec or not, that you didn't use a condom.

Get yourself checked and take the morning after pill. You can never be too careful!

Your hymen is no proof you had sex. There would (probably) be evidence of semen if he did have sex with you without a condom. Either way the safest thing would be to get a check for STIs and get the morning after pill.

If you didn't feel pain, what did you feel?

I know on my first attempt it was very painful and there was only a tiny amount of penetration as a result.

I know every girl is different but I would imagine if you can't say for sure that you felt him entering you then it didn't happen. I would have thought penetration was something you can most certainly feel. especially your first time!!

Get emergency contraception if in doubt about whether protection was used. You can get it in Boots without prescription. Otherwise go to your GP or family planning centre, particularly if you need advice.

Why don't you ask him? In the meantime, get yourself some emergency contraception in case.

You do not need full penetration to pass on STIs or get pregnant

That depends on your definition of virginity. It can vary a little from person to person. Virginity is an emotional state, not a physical one, in my opinion.

Is it important to you if you consider yourself to be one? If you didn't think you had sex then you probably didn't (providing you were conscious at the time of course).
However do still get yourself checked out, as others have said it is still possible to contract an STD from his lad.

Hi OP. I very much doubt you had sex, as first time it is almost always painful.
In fact there can be a problem with lubrication and it is very painful for the girl to have a penis inside her when her vagina is dry. Lubrication (either a girl's own natural lubrication or something like KY Jelly) makes things much easier.

But as others have said, you can get pregnant/catch STDs by non-penetration, so get checked out.
