    Hi there,

I bought a second had and it has a couple of very minor scratches. It does not bother me but I saw that in some places (i.e. Halfords) they sell paint to thouch dones up for a tener.

Has anybody tried them? Are they any good?

Also, what is the name of that material that cars get before the paint to avoid them getting rusty? I may have to put a tiny bit of that in one of the scratches before painting.

    Thanks,
    G

Personally I wouldnt buy from Halfords - have seen some touch ups that arent even close to a match.

Best going to your local motor factors, they should be able to mix up the colour for you - get the colour code off the stamp.
Primer is what goes unterneath the paint before painting, but I think the touch up paints are an All in One type of thing - open to correction on that!

Vinny Byrnes in Santry, if you are nearby, are supposed to be excellent for providing the touch up paints.

Can motor factors mix up the touch up in an aerosol?
