Back in 2002 a big crane went over the cliff when they were doing some reinforcing work on the sea wall to the East of Clonea Castle/West of Ballyvoile Cove. The only information I can find about it now online is here so at least I'm not imagining it, does anyone have any other links, pics or info about the accident?

the crane was lifting/lowering a skip onto the strand in order for work to take place at bottom of cliff....crane over-reached and toppled over....there wasnt as much excitement in ballyvoile since the ira blew up the bridge during the 1920s....
