Hi there, Wondering if anyone could set me straight here.

Applying for a postgrad course today, think I should qualify for my fees paid, the max you can get is 6270 but my fees would be over 8000. Will I be able to put the balance myself or do you have to apply for a course with fees under the threshold.. Saturday so no one I can ring and deadline is today. Cheers.

Postgraduate students who meet the qualifying conditions for the special rate of grant will be eligible to have their post-graduate tuition fees paid up to the maximum fee limit (€6,270).

Beware, if you're not entitled to the special rate (and they get progressively tighter on this each year), the grant only comes to €2k and you will have to make up the €6k-ish shortfall.
