Will go halves on petrol. For a male, starting work in jan. It's out the corbally mill rd so as close to there as possible would be great. Atm we only know of the rd out through corbally and take a right at larkins pub but if there is a rd from ul to there that's easy to walk then just as far as ul would be perfect...Work hrs either 8/9am to 5pm. If earlier in the morning then that could work too. Thanks :)

Sounds more like the new Job is in Gillogue.
The Mill Rd in Corbally is the 1st left after O'Driscolls (The Corbally Bar) coming from Town.
You cannot drive from UL to Gillogue but you can walk, or cycle. Although UL built a bridge across the river, they blocked the road on the Clare side to stop cars from using the campus as a short-cut.
If you can get someone to drive you out to Gillogue, right turn at Larkins, straight on until you go over 2 small humped-back bridges, then next right, and you will arrive at the UL campus about 1/2 a mile down this road. This will give you an idea of how long it would take you to walk from UL to your new place of work.
Good luck with the new job by the way.
