    Hi fellow cyclists,

Has anyone any experience ordering from Rapha's website? I've placed an order last Sunday for two items that were in stock. Four days later my items' status changed from "Ordered" to "Awaiting Shipping". They still are awaiting.

That's with Rapha's promise to deliver within 3-5 working days if ordered before 17th of December. Should I be concerned or is it normal for them to take a week (or longer?) to prepare an order?

    Thanks.

They are probably in the process of shutting down the operation and absconding with your money.

Seriously though, they have always been extremely prompt with any orders that I have made. Maybe they are busy with processing orders for poncy Christmas presents for bankers and lawyers.

They're hopefully wrapping up my leather bound "race notes notebook". Those espresso cups better be wrapped well too!

I've had stuff delivered by them in the past within a day or two to be honest

True. But easier to get an answer on boards on the Friday evening. :P

Are they leather bound cups? :)

Thanks guys, I'll give them a buzz on Monday if there's no change of the status.

"I say, Rapha! What hideous order processing times you have got". Will that do?

    'jolly good'

They are having technical issues with system apparently. I ordered stuff last week, said awaiting shipping until today. Received my order this morning and got shipping confirmation mail this evening.

Sounds poor enough for the most ridiculously over priced site I have ever seen
*disclaimer* I have not bought any of their stuff
*disclaimer* I have not seen apple.ie

any joy with this delivery - I'm still awaiting shipment from the 11th. Just as well I'd bought some other stuff for her!

Funny thing they despatched it the following day (on Saturday) and I had it on Monday. For that reason I didn't even have any chance to call them.
