Mike McCarthy to Leinster

I think mike McCarthy's arrival will boost Leinster's pack hugely. I personally don't rate Damian Browne, he is a big player who can give good go forward ball but I think his game is just too one dimensional and he doesn't add a whole lot to the team. However in big games he can provide a good platform, particularly against big packs. I do think this is a slap in the face to Devin Toner, who I believe is an immensely underrated player who could offer so much to this Leinster pack, he is a good ball carrier who secures line-out possession, which we all know is pivotal in the big games.

I also wonder if this is a sign that Leo Cullen will be retiring in the near future. He is a very important player to Leinster whose presence in the dressing room alone ups performance levels, in my opinion. I will be sad whenever he leaves but it is a good time to plan for the future and bring in a player of McCarthy's calibre. As we saw against the springboks he conducts himself more than ably in the big games and he is only going to get better with more experience.

Anyway I was just wondering what everyone else thinks on this move?
    Failed to load the poll.
