Anybody actually know if/when N-plate scheme is being introduced, if it is just drivers after that point caught for it? Or all drivers under X experience?
I'm motoring through my EDT's anyway!

The N-plates are to be introduced in 2013 not sure when but I think its in the summer. Could be sooner or later than that, no date set when they are issued. There is a different thing out in January but it only apply for those who pass the test from 19th of January and get the credit card sized full license.

Keep an eye out on the RSA website for any details on the N-plates.

The N-plates when ever be issued will only be issued to those who pass their test on that date onwards. If you pass your test now you do not have to have a N-plate displayed. For example if they start issuing them in June say all those that pass their test 1st June 2013 and onwards will have to display N-plates for two years. Driving experience has nothing to do with it, its when you pass the test you start displaying the N-plates for two years when ever they are issued could be January could be in the summer who knows as there is no definite date set yet for them being issued.
