Repairing spot of rust - advice

A while back I got rust repaired on my car and when I got it back a 'new' spot of rust appeared on the bottom of the door. As its only a spot I didn't bother bringing it back & now I'm going to repair it myself.

What's the best method to repair it? Is it remove the rust, add premier/sealant and then a little bit of touch up paint?

The depends. "Best" is to let a pro do it but of course that's most expensive.
But in essence you already said it - remove rust and prime and paint.
    What colour is car?

Thanks Biko, it's a dark blue fiesta.

Is there any particular primer that's better than one another or are they more or less in general the same?

Has the spot appeared where the repair was done? If so I wouldn't be fixing anything myself.

No the spot is in a different place, it's like a chip of paint was knocked off the door. I know it wasn't there before I left it in as I washed the car the day before. I was going to go back to complain as the seat belt was also damaged and the work was poor to say the least but I know the garage well and didn't like to.

Ah heyore. Pardon my French, but you need to grow a pair. The fact that you 'know the garage well' is all the more reason for you to complain.
