Hi, My girlfriend and I are looking in to taking up kickboxing, just for self defense and exercise, does anyone know of a good club in the Cork area? Looking for one with a nice relaxed and friendly atmosphere. Thanks, David.

In the city Bushido run a club in Cork and they're also on Facebook here.

Cork Thai is a very good Thai boxing club in Cork city center (Mcurtain St). Beginners classes start at 6:30 Mon-Fri. Great for self defense and getting fit. Coaches are great and very helpfull , especially head coach Antony who is extremely helpful to beginners.
