First edit, took 30 mins. I've seen people spending hours on this things and it probably could use more work but for now i've kinda hit a wall with editing it. Opinions?

Difficult to see on such a small photo. Looks like there wasn't much to do on the original TBH. Just heal a few white spots, fix the hue and crop out the black edges - 10 mins tops. You should have straightened it too while you were at it.

Bottom right and the prominant boulder on the right are a bit over cooked. There is a shadow running diagonally from the bottom left up through the clouds thats a bit distracting and you lost the lovely silver tones of original picture, particulary in the sea.
Oh and it needs to be straightened. :)
Nicely done for a quick fix though.

Its actually a pretty weird photo, it was shot on black and white film so i don't know why it came out with that blue hue on it. I'll get a larger image of the original so you can see the amount of damage that was on it, just use a healing brush and it was grand, How do i straighten it out? use a distort transform path?

No. Rotate the image 5 or 6 degrees clockwise (or anticlockwise). It'll crop the image a little but won't really lose anything in this instance.

How did you manage to get those huge blown flares in the water ? They don't seem evident in the original scan ?
