    Hope someone here can advise!

I got the forms for Job Seekers Allowance 3 weeks ago and my first meeting/interview is scheduled for tomorrow. Today I have been offered a job ( :) ) and accepted but it doesn't start until 3rd January.

What should I tell them tomorrow? If they know I have a job offer will they cancel my application and all back pay? Or would they allow it continue and pay JSA until I start work??

I really need to get the JSA in the next two weeks (will likely be going to community welfare officer next week) in order to pay rent at the end of this month.

    Thanks for any advice!!

Go to the interview, make your application and let them know you have secured a job but still want to claim for the period that you are unemployed. Just in case your job offer falls through (god forbid) When you start work call them a sign off.
