    How do i fix a hydraulic jack or know if seals gone:o

    If the seals are gone it will be leaking hydraulic fluid, assuming it hasn't already leaked entirely out. Try topping up the fluid first.
    Unless you know what you're doing I wouldnt recommend attempting a repair unless you trust yourself to do a good job.................2 tons dropping on you might give you a headache!!

    Sorry for going OT, but it was banged into me as teenager, never get under anything held up by a jack, chock it up first (preferably with wood).

    It could be a case of just a little air in the system, it will be slow to lift if at all and be spongy if that's the case. Open the bleed valve and pump it till oil starts to come out.

    If seals are leaking it still won't lift afterwards. Not too bad a fix providing you can get the correct seals for it.

    As mentioned, a set of axle stands or blocks are vital, never get under something that is just jacked up.

    Ta Fixed and working ball bearing was missing
    Now to tackle 2 trolley jacks
