'Ninja' fretless bass

    A few years back I got three guitars in a cheap bundle - a MiJ E Series Strat, a custom JayDee Roadie II Supernatural and a Ninja Fretless bass.

    Im assuming the Ninja is just a cheap knockoff thing as I cant seem to find any info on it online at all. Anyone ever heard of one or have any links etc?

    Sorry for the delay. Ive found a tiny bit of info from a cached page on harmony central, but besides assuming its a cheapo (which I'd agree with as its got no serial), havent found out much else

    A Jaydee in a 'bundle', did the seller know what he / she was offing?.....and if its not a rude question, how much was the bundle, or would it harm my health to know, since i have always wanted one of them old diggins planks....

    Seller didnt really know what they had and just wanted rid of the lot. I paid €300 for all of it. Its a lovely bass the JD. It was made in the mid 80s, one of a batch of five. There was less than 50 made in whatever combination its set up in (a Roadie II with both pickups active). JayDee people were very helpful .. I sent them the serial and they sent me back a load of history on it.
