They have 2 wireless chatpads left, they attach to your PS3 controller....17.99!
That is the cheapest i've seen, they are normally between 25-30.

They also have 2 Sony Move navigation controllers, for just 9.99 each!
Huge bargin there as the can be between anywhere from 25-35 online or instores.....get in there! :)

Did you go to Gamestop and complain about their prices? :pac:

Seriously though, good find. Will have a look in Dublin to see if they're the same price this afternoon.

I've tried Cork and Dublin too! Just rings out. Maybe they stop answering them during the festive season when they're up the walls?

Slightly off topic but you can pick up a PS3 control pad for 9.99 in Smyths. It's wireless, not Sony and requires 3 AAA batteries. The official Sony pad is 50, that's such a difference in price.

How's the quality though? A lot of cheap third party controllers feel cheap and aren't comfortable to use for extended periods.

The pictures on Smyths website look like computer renders.

The reason the Dublin(Henry Street) store is not answering the phones is they have xmas temps working who are among the rudest retail staff I have ever seen, cheeky basterds said they dont take trade ins in until after christmas, which is complete bs btw.

    EXCUSE ME!

As a member of the 'rudest retail staff' you have ever seen, let me assure you that is not bull****. The store is only taking trade-ins on the titles in the Most Wanted list, a list of about 10 titles, which are in demand. The phones not being answered likely has more to do with being too busy to answer; it's a week from Christmas and it's completely jammers in there.

You understand staff in the shop get priority over someone sitting on his hole at home ringing, right?

I was told NO trade ins at all, not until after Christmas, this was nearly ten days ago too. I also asked one of the senior staff the next day who then told me this was not the case, regardless I have not been back in since as it is a bad time to trade in stuff, the games I tried to trade were Assassins Creed 3 and WWE 13 both top 10 games at that time.

Sounds like you got given slightly wrong information. Sorry, but it happens, especially when you have people in there, on their first and second days.

The girl who served me had been there more than a week, she didn't know how to trade I presume, the guy who served me or rather didn't, was a senior staff, regardless I haven't been back since as I don't like being screwed around, in-between the two times I had been trading in games with the usually staff members, as I am sure you are aware a lot of the games staff switched with CD and DVD floor and counter staff, I apologise if I caused any offence, it was just annoying to be told that the store wasn't taking in trades when this clearly is not the case or at least was at that time.
