Do you mean for use as a taxi? If so unless you already own a plate, there too old.

Know nothing about carnivals but there are far better taxis than sedonas. Theyre thirsty, dear to fix, fairly troublesome and i wouldnt be sure youd be able to plate one now for 6/7 seats.

I know of one, bought auto new in 04, which broke its owners heart taxiing. And they are a horrible yoke to drive.

Get yourself one of the usual taxi favourites. Avensis, octavia, passat etc. Its hard enough to make a living at it now i hear, and the last thing you need is something else to break your heart.

I have a carnival and find it a great car to drive it's 3 years old now but I never had any trouble with it. One thing I would worry about if you were using it as a taxi is the electric sliding doors I could see people pulling the door handle off instead of waiting for it to open :D

The other thing is that as a taxi the Carnival is only a 4 passenger vehicle, the Sedona got away with it because of the seat configurations

    Carnival 2/3/2 front to rear

    Sedona 2/2/3 front to rear

And before you ask yes a lot of people would be onto the phone to the Garda if they saw you taking 5 when licensed for 4
