Which Cleats?

Neither is best, it's just down to personal preference. I've only ever used Look Keo for the road. As for slipperiness, well you ain't meant to walk in any of them so it shouldn't really matter.

The Keo are easy to engage and I expect Shimano are also.

They will both be very similar in regards to clipping in and out of as they are very similar in design. They both have bits of rubber at the edges to aid with walking.

Are you racing? You could use MTB shoes and cleats instead. I don't bother with road pedals unless I'm racing.

They're similar. Get whichever one is compatible with your pedals.

I have look keo easy pedals and also shimano 105 pedals.
Would the shimano cleats be ok with the look pedals and vise-versa?

so are the 105s are better pedals than the easys?

I prefer LOOK pedals myself...its a personal choice.

I have both and prefer LOOK as well.

To balance things up, I prefer Shimano.

LOOK are the original, so they must be the best ... Right?

I wouldn't go for Keo Easy. You can't adjust the tension on them, least not the last pair I saw.

Sorry I just checked and they are keos not keo easy, you can adjust the tension on them.
It looks like the shimano cleats are wider than looks, does this mean they are more comfortable or would you even notice?

Haven't a clue about that, but Look are sexier than Shimano if that helps you with your decision.

If you have both, why dont you try them and see which you prefer?

I have look keo. They cost about 100 for the pedals. So not the keo easy. Great pedal. Never tried the shimanio tho. That and the came in white :pac:
Goes with the bike you see

    Why not half and half?

Look on the left, Shimano on the right.

Look on the left, Shimano on the right.

    Very dangerous.
    Put Shimano on the left.

I have both Look Keos and 105 pedals and i prefer the shimano's/105's as the pedals are slightly wider and so you can pedal quite easily without being clipped in which can be handy when stopping at junctions and crossing roads as it means your not trying to clip in as you cross the road/junction and once across you can look down to clip in if need be. There is no difference that i can notice between clipping in/;out between the two of them, theyre pretty much equal in that sense.
