    I believe there grants have been cut as well.

    I've seen Brian Gregan training a good few times recently. The guy is an animal. I'd expect him to improve his PB again this year barring injury etc. He'd be doing very well to get low 45.

    Edit: I just checked his progression and at this rate, he might even break 45 this year!! If not, then consistent sub-45.5 second running would make it a good year.
