Best value indoor aerial?

Can anyone recommend a good value indoor aerial to use with a new Saorview TV? I've bought a TV as an xmas present and want to get an aerial as well so they can be up and running on xmas day. I've seen them everywhere from the €2 shop to B&Q but don't really know which one to buy. Any recommendations would be greatly…

Buy the 2 Euro one. If it does not work then get a proper rooftop aerial as recommended. Put the money into a good rooftop aerial, not a good indoor aerial.

The performance difference between the 2 Euro and a 35 Euro version is very little.

Thanks for the reply. I'll chance the €2 one to start and see how they get one. It'll be in a rented house so an outside aerial isnt really an option.

You can try the indoor aerial in attic if it doesn't work at Tv. Then good roof top aerial in Attic / or roof.

Again "good roof top aerial" doesn't mean loads of spikes, triple-booms or high price.
