American TV show from the 80's

I remember watching this show about 85/86. It had 2 boys and a girl in it. They
were into science and used gadgets to save the day.

One episode had them playing bowling for a bet of some sort and they used x-ray specs to look at the lane. The lane had extra oil/grease on it so they switched lanes and won the game. The youngest brother getting a spare to win.

The closing credits had a heart monitor beep going across the screen and one of them dancing or something.
I don't think it was 'whizzkids' because none of the episodes sound familiar.

    The Edison Twins, maybe?

That looks right, just watching the opening sequence on my mobile.
I think RTE had this in the 80's.
Just need to find the episode about the bowling now!

    Many Thanks,

(Season 5 Episodec 12 Lances Luck
Intent on saving the financially troubled Weston Lanes Bowling Alley, Lance persuades the Edisons to join his team )

Yep, 100% sounds like the Edison Twins to me. I can even confirm that RTE showed it in 1984 at least as I used to have a video tape from that year with an ep recorded on it.

I think the bowling ep you're looking for is called "Lances Luck" btw. (edit I see you found it)

It's one show I'd love to buy on DVD. Unfortunately it's only available by streaming at amazon.com and you have to to live in the US to be allowed to buy it. Please let me know if you find the show anywhere for d/l or purchase etc. Thanks/
