    Default/Sample Questions
What got you into Pro Wrestling in the first place?
WWF Attitude game on PS1 and RAW game on SNES.

Friend has the SNES, cousin had the PS1. I would play them non-stop despite having no idea who was who and what wrestling really was. I was around 7 or 8 at the time if I recall correctly. Then one day I asked for the game for my own PS1 I got for Christmas. Parents ended up getting me WWF Warzone but I loved playing it. Still remember all the video promos. Even Ahmed Johnson. Then one day I was flicking through the channels and came across Livewire on Sky One and I've been watching ever since.
What keeps you interested in it?
Honestly, its different segments and the backstage stuff. I loved getting sucked into a match at certain points, but generally I get bored during most matches more than I used to. I can't remember the last time I watched a full episode of Raw, but I always check the results and go back and watch whatever sounds worthwhile. Wrestlemania is ALWAYS fun though. Get completely absorbed in it.
How did you come across the PW forum on Boards?
Used to work in a call centre and for one summer I was on this special team where I got like one call a day. Ended up trawling Boards for new forums and came across you guys!
What keeps you coming back to the forum?
I usually fact check stuff I've come across online by seeing if Rovert posted anything about it. I also really enjoy the piss-taking.
What other big interest do you have outside of Pro Wrestling?
GAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAMES. And radio. Thinking of starting up a podcast soon, just need to get the equipment. Used to do a few Let's Plays now and then but I just lost inspiration.
What wrestler/story/moment do you feel had the greatest impact on you as a fan?
1.Chris Jericho winning the WWF Championship from HHH 20 minutes into RAW after the APA got rid of Shane McMahon. I could not believe it. I mentioned in the RAW #1000 podcast we did about how I used to lay in bed on Friday nights and 'listen' to Raw, because we didn't have Sky Sports tuned in. BUT I was so tired I fell asleep during the ad break. Woke up the next morning SUPER excited about Y2J as Champion....and then I watched it. Distraught is an understatement.
    2. Invasion angle. Yes, I know everyone looks back on it now as a big missed opportunity, but I had little to no knowledge of WCW or ECW, only what I had briefly overheard my cousin talking about. So from Vince buying WCW, all the way to Vince vs Ric Flair for control, I was glued to the TV waiting to see what happened next and who would show up. As a kid who still though it was all real it was mindblowing.

    2. Stone Cold
    3. The Undertaker
    4. Chris Jericho
    5. HHH
    5andahalf. Shawn Michaels

    Current
    1. Daniel Bryan
    2. Dolph Ziggler
    3. CM Punk
    4. Ryback
    5. The Miz
    Floury blaa or crusty blaa?
    Floury blaa for lunch.

Crusty blaa with a gigantic mug of tea to nurse a hangover.

Well I hate The Script and I hate Will.I.Am but I thought "Hall of Fame" was a great song.

    Uncharted 2 : Among Thieves
Honestly nothing like it. I know people who've bought a PS3 just to play this.

    OR

The Walking Dead. See it wins GOTY for 2012, but I don't know about 5 years.

Gets trickier at ten years or more, but 5 years and thats what spring to mind.

When you work in radio for a few weeks, the songs get stuck in your head and you start to enjoy them. I've gotten to a point now where I'll listen to the song because I enjoy it, even if I'd like to see the band get hit by a bus.

I just did an online test and they said Wolf. Sounds good to me.

Tony Browne by the smallest bit.

If I had a wrestling personality over for dinner it would have to be Cody Rhodes. Fast dinner, then hours of co-op gaming.

    Started watching in 96/97.

    Haven't been to any. :(
My cousin made it to the front row of a Smackdown the late 90's. Got a picture of X-Pac staring at Stephanie's arse.

Been to four different countries. England, Portugal, Poland and Germany.

The polish women are just unbelievable. A 9 over here is a 6 over there.

The 24 bus I think. It was the one I used to get in Cork when I was visiting friends in UCC. Many a dodgy hangover stomach held in on that bus.

I would invite Cody Rhodes, Sheamus and then AJ Lee so it wasn't a sausage fest.

What debut/run has disappointed the most after hearing so much about them or seeing promos?
Like I said when asking the others this question, Preferably not one of the WCW/ECW guys in the Invasion since they were pretty much fubar in comparison to what they were in their previous companies.

What WWE star do you think doesn't deserve the push they're getting and who do you think has a poor gimmick?

I'd love to come in as a real dickish Irish guy who was pissed off with Sheamus getting too into the "Top O'De Mornin" oirishness. Feud would culminate in a bar fight.
    What is your favourite finisher?

Has to be the chokeslam. Never was mad on Big Show's versions, but always loved Kane's and Taker's.

Small few Christmas songs at the moment, a lot more chart stuff lately, Fun Lovin' Criminals, Thin Lizzy, Steely Dan and Fatboy Slim.
Lot of videogame and movie soundtracks too.

Meal Deal for one from Pizza Hut. When they changed the offer to include Garlic Bread instead of Pizza-ish Garlic Bread, it hurt me deep.
    jaykhunter wrote: »

Soft drink would be Coca Cola.

As far as hard drink goes, I'm partial to a bottle of Bulmers or a Captain & Coke.

When I was younger I was always disappointed the dropped the Mordecai gimmick after two weeks. Same goes for Nathan Jones, but he quit so theres that.

Lately I have to say I was disappointed in Tensai. Heard so much about him being huge in Japan and really improving, and then his push fell apart and I desperately want to see him repackaged.
    CastorTroy wrote: »

I don't think anyone comes to mind as being undeserving. I'll re-post if I think of someone.

    Poor gimmick? Tensai
    CastorTroy wrote: »

I would push Damien Sandow, but I could only really book it for a few matches. Have a month or so where he loses matches, but then argues a really obscure rule he found with the referee so that he ends up being declared the winner. "I beat you, because I am smarter than you".
    CastorTroy wrote: »

I'd love to see Steve Blackman or Ken Shamrock again, but they don't really fit into the current programming.

I've a hankering to see John Morrison in another ladder match though.
    CastorTroy wrote: »

It was rampant when I was in 6th year. We used to leave our bags against the wall outside the classroom door while we waited to go in. We'd be feckin' RKO and superkicking each other up and down the hall.

Physical copies preferrably, nothing like holding the case in your hands. Can't beat a good digital deal though.

I would take a guess at 119 games in my account. In work atm so can't check, but I'm sure someone else can see it on Steam there and confirm for us.

Dreading it. I managed to hold myself back during their Thanksgiving sale. Mad to get Lego Lord of the Rings though.

I don't really burst into a song unless it's playing. Or someone suggests a sing song.

I am bloody awful at karaoke, but I always choose "National Express" by the Diving Comedy. I know all the words to "Rappers Delight", but I can't rap. :(

Only been around for a few months. Kinda psychedelic, seen 'em play live twice now and can't enough. I keep listening to "Everybody In The Night". My personal song of the year, partly due to the "whaowwhaowwhaow" right at the start.
