Recognise this DS game?

I'm checking anywhere & everywhere to help Santa decipher a cryptic letter to his workshop:)

DD's requested a DS game which involves a paper man that you colour in. You've to colour in his surroundings too & as you do so he's able to progress through the game.

Does it sound familiar to anyone, all I can get our of her is that it's not Drawn to Life.

I would have guessed Drawn to life too.

    Tough one to guess.

Couple of shots in the dark

De Blob had the character colouring his environment in but doesn't sound like what you have described.

Epic Mickey on the wii has painting of sorts too, but not even sure it was on ds.

Okamiden (might be spelling that wrong) has a drawing type aspect to to it.

CRAYOLA treasure adventure ( or something similar) has you progressing by colouring in drawings. ( its fairly crap by the way).

    Good luck with the search

Thank you so much to everyone who replied, I really appreciate it.

I've a search of all the games you've suggested but unfortunately I don't think we've got it yet. She's just gone 9yrs & is starting to doubt the whole Santa thing & that's why she's being so vague. I'd really love to crack the code & just keep the magic alive for at least this year. I started a game this evening trying to see who could name the most DS games & she fired off several before she said " paper superman" & went promptly quiet saying "you're just looking for clues".

I've googled that & got nowt. I hoping other posters may have a few new suggestions.

Might be the new Paper Mario Sticker Star, if so it is only for 3DS, not the DSi or DS lite.

The only games that I can think of that haven't been mentioned are Kirby Canvas Curse, Pac-Pix and Let's Draw...

Would you have an older niece or nephew you could get to ask her, and then relay it to you? She may be more forthcoming to a younger person.

I was thinking it may be Paper Mario, but as was previously mentioned that can only be played on 3DS.
