Hi . I am wondering - if I am claiming Jobseekers Allowance and before that I HAVE NOT been on Jobseekers Benefit (but I have worked and paid PRSI in the last 2 years) am I automatically signing on for credits? Or do I need to apply separately for that? Thanks

If you are getting a payment from the dept you are automatically getting a credited stamp.You only need to apply if you are not entitled to a dept payment.

It says that when getting Jobseekers Benefit and then moving to Jobseekeres Allowance then I am automatically given credits. I can get credits on JA if I worked during the last 2 years, which i have. But do i need to apply for that separately ?
