Is there a website that will give me Share Price on day of purchase?

Need to make a CGT return and apparently need the value of the share on date of purchase, hod do I find that out?

Yahoo finance will probably have it.
View the chart for the max timeframe.

Actually yahoo.finance has a historical prices option on the left where you can enter a date.

Thanks for that, it seems that it's giving the price for the Nasdaq whereas I'm looking for the FTSE prices from about 2001, any ideas? Thanks
