That's not Facebook's fault. Stupid kids will find a way to be moronic no matter what.

The worst thing about this whole story:
Her mother, Esther, had been present to attempt to keep “an eye out for trouble”. She said her insurers had refused to pay out on the damage done.

“I am stunned - why would they do this?” the 56-year-old said. She added: “There wasn't supposed to be drink but the police told me they confiscated an unbelievable amount of alcohol from the groups.

I expect to see this girl appearing on episodes of "16 and pregnant", "Made in Essex" and a number of youporn channels over the next few years, all supported by her mother.

Because you allowed them to do it clearly. Once the numbers went over 2 dozen they should have got booted out the door.

I was part of one of those houseparties when I was 15.. Mad the damage done to the girl's house.

Grown up now though.. My housemate organised a big house party about 2 months ago in our house and it went viral with the expat population in Hanoi. Easily 150 or more people in the house at one point and the only bit of damage was the leg of a statue.. We're adults though and the whole thing was very drunk but sensible.

Can see how things get out of control though.. We didn't recognize 90% of the people coming in.

I hear she stole a gnome from a drug dealer that was filled with ecstasy and a up and coming baseball star smashed it open on the front lawn and everybody was HIIIIIIGGGGHHHHH

I was at a house party years ago and a feckload of uninvited people turned up towards the end of the night. Your man that owned the house couldn't get people to leave the garden so his mate went home, got a tractor & slurry tank, went back and opened it up; soaking everyone in the most rancid smelling shit you could imagine. I'd say most of them ended up walking for miles to get home, coz there's no chance in hell they would have been allowed into taxis.

Pity there weren't any camera phones back then.

She said her insurers had refused to pay out on the damage done.

Course they did, there's a clause in any house insurance saying that damage or theft has to be done by someone who had to make an effort to break in. If you invite, or otherwise let in, a load of eejits into your house and they wreck the place, that's called your own stupidity, and they won't cover you for that.

Her mother has to have some kind of mental disability, surely?

Didn't this happen in Cavan too, except on a larger scale?

In before calls for Facebook to be censored, restricted, banned, or otherwise interfered with instead of calls for individual idiots to stop being idiots.

At first I thought the kid was a little shìt.

By the end I thought that mother was an idiot.

Agreed. She's only 14 and for her mum to actively encourage this is, in my view, more than enough to almost completely absolve her of responsibility. At age 14 my parents were teaching me "You never use your real name or your address on any website, you never know who might end up following you".

Can't blame kids for idiotic parental instructions.

No need to panic, one quick phonecall to the French Polishers and it will be sorted.

Sounds like that was Stone Cold's Irish farmer cousin, Cold Bones Farmer Jones
