    hi guys,

just curious to get an answer to the following question:

i am registered as a sole trader and work from home. when it comes to doing my books, what percentage of my electric bills are considered a business expense?

    thanks in advance.

Whatever % you think applies to the business

but i think i remember being told before it depends on the number of bedrooms in the house.

as far as i can remember, if you work from a 3 bed house, 33% of the electric bill is tax deductable, if you work from a 4 bed house, 25% deductable etc.

    anyone clarify this for me?
