The great engineer and inventor died a few days ago at the age of 92. Most of us here would have travelled on his suspension designs at some point id bet. RIP

The great engineer and inventor died a few days ago at the age of 92.
Most of us here would have travelled on his suspension designs at some point id bet.

I had the great privileged of meeting him in the foyer of the drawing office of Leyland Cars back in the 70's ...... He was chatting with another legend - Sir Alec Issigonis. I've never been the same since !!

They're probably designing a new chariot for the 'man upstairs' as we speak.
